Infinity Rising

Infinity Rising is a Web3 Sanbox MMORPG that started development in 2021 as Cornucopias. The game is currently in closed-alpha, and you need to hold an NFT in a supported wallet to access the game.

They have assets on Base (web-store only), but the cheapest ones are on Cardano on the JPEG Store. I'm not very familiar with Caradano, but Lace is the wallet that worked best for me.

Once you have it, you can download the launcher on the main website:

INFINITY RISING Preview - Is This the Web3 MMORPG That Makes It?

Woody Wood

This is the moment Infinity Rising truly begins.

Version 0.3.9 does not just add features. It gives the world its first soul.

For the first time, players step into a living narrative through Part One of the Intro Quest. You wake into a broken world and are met by Emma, your guide through the unknown. She is not a tutorial pop-up. She is part of the world. She speaks to you, moves you forward, and anchors your first steps in the story of what this place used to be and what it is becoming.

Your opening moments are quiet. You learn how to move, how to look, how to exist here. Emma introduces you to the environment, points you toward your first objectives, and frames your purpose. This is not a checklist. It feels like arriving somewhere that was waiting for you.

Then the tone shifts.

You are sent out into the wild and that is when Infinity Rising shows its teeth.

Drones now stalk the land with close-range proximity attacks. They do not just shoot from afar anymore. They rush you. They pressure you. They force movement. Every fight feels personal. When they fall, they leave behind loot, making every encounter a risk-reward decision instead of background noise.

And then you meet it.

The Meat Grinder.

It is not just another enemy. It is a warning. Massive. Violent. Unforgiving. The game even tells you to bring a mop. This is where players realize this world is not safe and survival is earned. You are no longer sightseeing. You are fighting to exist.

Alongside this danger comes creation.

Crafting makes its first appearance in the universe. You begin with Berry Tea, a simple recipe that feels like a survival staple. But the system is intentionally blind. There are two more recipes hidden in the world right now and no one is told what they are. You are meant to experiment. Combine. Fail. Discover.

This is the first glimpse of a system that will soon explode into 30 to 40 craftable items in the next release. What starts as a warm drink becomes the foundation of player-driven knowledge and exploration.

By the end of this first quest arc, you have:

Met a real character in the world

Taken your first story-driven steps

Faced evolved enemies that change how combat feels

Encountered a true threat in the Meat Grinder

Crafted your first item

Realized there is more hidden beneath the surface

Infinity Rising is no longer just a sandbox.

It is becoming a world.

And this is only Chapter One.
