Core Dynamics HOSS-08 Heavy Armor
The Core Dynamics HOSS-08 Heavy Armor was designed around a simple problem: traditional heavy armor keeps operators alive, but often makes them too slow to control the fight. HOSS-08 answers with a distributed armor system that concentrates protection over critical areas while preserving range of motion through articulated joints and flexible protective layers.
Its reinforced plates are rated for threats beyond conventional light armor, including larger rifle calibers, high-velocity fragmentation, and blast debris. Energy-dispersing internal layers help manage impact and explosive shock while keeping the suit responsive enough for sprinting, climbing, weapon handling, and aggressive close-quarters movement.
HOSS-08 is Core Dynamics' answer to the mobile heavy infantry problem. Rather than surrounding the wearer in unnecessary mass, the system uses shaped ballistic plating, flexible armor sections, and load-distributing support structures to place protection where it matters most.
Built for combat zones where rifle fire and explosive threats are expected rather than exceptional, the HOSS-08 provides substantial protection against heavy impacts, fragmentation, and battlefield debris without reducing its wearer to walking cover. It is heavy armor made for operators who still intend to move like the fight depends on it.
